Our StoryOur lives were forever changed on the evening of October 10, 2019. A beautiful fall night ended in tragedy when we learned that Finn had been involved in an accident that would cost him his life. The outpouring of love and support, mixed with both shock and immeasurable grief has left us with the feeling that even though Finn is no longer with us- his kind spirit must live on!
You will see in our stories and pictures that Finn was born Marley and lived the majority of his short life as a silly, charismatic, loving little girl. As he matured, he had the courage to come out and make the changes that he felt necessary to become Finn. We remain in awe of his courage and will forever be grateful to all of those who supported and accepted him as he was. As we move ahead, we will be planning events that we hope would not only make him proud, but that you will all feel proud to support. We started this non-profit organization as a way to carry out his wishes and intentions by encouraging random acts of kindness, providing scholarships for advancement in education, music and fine arts, and supporting the LGBTQ community in his honor. We are a work in progress, just as Finn himself was as a 15 year old sophomore in high school. Thank you for your support, messages, letters, meals, hugs, prayers, shares, donations but most of all- Thank You for taking the time to Finn It Forward. All of our Love! #finnitforward |
